The Videophile Edition cables V99 are especially developed for application in the sphere of professional video recordings, high-end home theatre and mobile video installation projects. V99 has a coaxial triple shielded construction with silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors. The pure silver layer of the central multi-strand conductors and inner braided conductor enhances the high frequency response and properties of the cable, both of which are very important for digital/analog video signal transmission. This makes our V99 a top performer for either short or long cable runs. The high technology design of V99 and PE foam dielectric produce an extremely low attenuation (0.6 dB/100 Meters at 1 MHz!!!) and true invariant 75 Ohms characteristic impedance. The Mylar foil shield and high density tinned copper braid shield provide very efficient noise protection and the polyethylene foam dielectrics guarantee a stable impedance of the cable [+/- 2%] and accurate reproduction of the full spectrum of digital sound! The internal geometry of the V99 makes it a perfect choice in wide sphere of applications: composite digital video and audio signal transfer, analog audio and component video.The cable is terminated in nickel-plated squeeze locking plugs, which provides firm vibration proof connection and offers a unique internal wedging system. The pure gold-plated center-split tip and eight-cut ground sleeve enable the connector to provide maximum contact pressure, ensuring a stable and reliable connection immune to vibration and jostling.
